Hydrodynamic and heat-transfer characteristic test rig
 

Functions and support areas:The test research in terms of heat transfer, resistance and hydrodynamic characteristics , etc. of water wall of supercritical (ultra-supercritical) boilers can be carried out to provide basic data for design and safe operation of boilers.
Instruments and equipment :
    High-pressure water supply pump
    High-temperature boiler water circulating pump
    Electric heater
    Steam-water separator , etc.
    It is completely equipped with the thermal measurement devices for flow, pressure, temperature , etc.
    Complete set of automatic control system.
Parameters and technical level :Flow: 15m3/h; pressure: 42MPa; temperature: 500℃; heating power: 2000KW. It is able to carry out the hydrodynamic and heat-transfer characteristic test of boilers at 40MPa/700℃/720℃ from sub-critical parameters to supercritical (ultra-supercritical) parameters. It represents the highest parameter level of hydrodynamic laboratory of boilers in China.
Allowable research work :Research on heat transfer, resistance and hydrodynamic characteristics of bare tube and internally-threaded tubes of water wall with different tube diameter and different inclination angles; research on hydrodynamic distribution characteristics of boiler header at sub-critical and ultra-supercritical pressures; research on thermal deviation of super-heater/re-heater in different combustion modes; research on unstable critical conditions and rules of hydrodynamics and reasonable mass and flow speed selection of water wall in the spiral tube coil or vertical tube coil layout; development of calculation methods and software for heat transfer, resistance and hydrodynamic characteristics of tubes of spiral tube coil or vertical tube coil; and development and test verification of key technology for hydrodynamic safety of boilers.
